My name is Scott. I'm a still-learning husband of 38+ years, the father of 4 adult children (2 girls / women + 2 boys / men-like-products), a father-in-law, an aspiring grandfather ("Please God!"), the youngest of 3 boys all born in 4 years (and still thriving in our 70s), previously gainfully employed in different roles for 40 years, more successfully retired for 7 years and generally a happy survivor of what life has served up. And, it has served up a lot! Guiding principles are many, but most frequently include: "Don't make a bad situation worse" and "Resilience is the grease for the gears of life".
